Which position are you interested in: Mod, Spriter, or both? Both


Why do you want to be a Mod and/or Spriter? I love RPing, and always jump for any chance to improve my skills. I like the creativity of modding, too- It always seemed so incredibly fun for me. And spriting's great, too; I've always loved the ability to manipulate pixels to do my evil bidding look like something else. And this seems like a really great forum to moderate.


What makes you think you deserve the job? *Shrug* I dunno, really. I've been RPing for two years, and can make long, descriptive posts given the right thing to respond to. And I like spriting, although my shading really could use some work. It's all about the enjoyment, and a bit of skill, and I guess I sorta have both, so...


What experience if any do you have in this area? A year of spriting on various places, I've currently modded several forums, many of which have closed due to Admins' school problems, though I will provide links if needed to do so.

As you walk through the forest, the sheer terror of utter and total lostness strikes you, worrying you to a great extent. You sniff the air, trying to catch the scent of anyone else of your pack who might be in the area, or a scent marker showing the boundaries to a territory. And yet, nothing shows up. You try again. Still nothing. In your bliss-filled excitement, you've become totally lost in this vast forest, this incredible plain.

You wander for a while, hoping to find signs of your pack- How far could you have gone, after all? It wasn't too long you were trotting along, was it? But after a few more minutes, still nothing has showed up. But then, you notice the distinct scents of assorted prey mingling in the air, growing thicker... You must be near a hunting ground of a sort, maybe the one of your pack, even.

As you follow the scent, excited, you smell something else. The powerful scent of predatory pokemon, though you can't identify the species. Then, you hear a faint, distant howl, barely recognizable, a somehow remembered sound echoing in your ears...

And sprites, since I'm signing up for both positions...

Spriter- YES! :D Not TOP spriter quality, but pretty close! :D I LOVE the Growlithe! :luff: You keep making progress like you have the last year, and I may have to make you a Head Spriter with me and Xae. ^_^

Mod- I'd like to, but one thing. You controlled the player's char WAY too much. Beautiful grammar, good creativity, and great length. But I need to know you are able to make a reply like that without being so controlling. Wanna try once more? :3

Yay, thanks for the spriter comments! Spriting is fun. I'm not too good at mixing, say, nine pokemon or so, though. As for the mod comments... Yeah, sorry. It was a bit of a hard prompt to work from, and other ones are usually a bit easier. I'll try again. It'd be easier with character/pack info to work from, though.


You soon realize that you're completely lost. None of these trees, these bushes... Not even a scent marker's faint odor in the air. You must've wandered a bit... But how far could you have gone? You weren't distracted by your excitement for yoo, long, were you? After all, your territory is rather large. But those bushes... They don't look at all like the type in your territory, not at all.

Suddenly, you smell something, a distant scent, not quite strong enough for you to identify. And then, a faint howling penetrates your ears, a noise you recognize, though from where is completely unknown... It sounds like a pack member... But is it?

...Does this mean I'm going to hate my job soon? Darn. Because it stayed fun at all the other forum's I've modded for a while... J/K. Either way, I really like my job so far, fwee.

Lol!! x3 I know, I know. If you like modding, you'll probably love it here too. A lot of us are just really lazy, lol. Personally, I hate modship. I like modding interesting journeys when I can, but I hate being obligated to do so. :3 I prefer helping FA (Fallen Angel aka Venus Angel aka Eclipse Lunawolf aka Loveless (LOL!)) run the place, messing around with the rules and game mechanics, bios, skin, structure, etc. :3 That's what I love, along with spriting, and I especially love both here! Obviously modding and spriting are what you love, so now that you're joining our psychopathic happy family, I'm sure you'll especially love it here too! ^_^
