Which position are you interested in: Mod, Spriter, Artist, or a combination?
Well, Can I be a mod? I am already a spriter/artist, if I can be mod it would be great, if not, do not worry ^^
Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?
I feel that many people is not getting as many replies as they would like, and its obvious because there a millions (well... not millions) of players and few mods that can reply; I know how tiredsome and boring can be forcing yourself to reply to topics you don't seem interested so if there are more mods, its more likely to be more interest in other people journeys.... Just a random thought xD
What makes you think you deserve the job?
Mmmm... Good question.... Maybe because I've been here a lot of time? And I do want to do it. I think this question must be answered by you; not me. :sweat:
What experience if any do you have in this area?
I'm the owner of my own site (Totem Islands) and have been modin Pokemon Crusade, Zephyr Island and Co-Owner of Pokemon Region.

Get outta here!" He roared menacingly.

My eyes grew wide as the Houndoom came racing toward me. Try as I may, though, my little Pikachu body could only move so fast. I dodged Matrix style as best I could, still being badly scraped up by that burning bite. The force knocked me completely over, so I finished the somersault out and used my tail to make sure I landed on my feet.
My small hand clutched my side, where I wasn't entirely sure, but suspected I had a bit of burn damage as well. Great.. Just what I needed- a burn from a Houndoom! As if mocking me, she laughed her seductive little laugh. "Had enough, little boy?"
I snarled and growled with frustration, static building in my pouches. "I'll show you! I'll show you all!" She wouldn't make a fool of me! Yelling with anger, I leashed the strongest Thunderbolt I could muster! |
The Houndoom hadn't expect the unleash of such power, even though, she managed to leapt back to dodge the hit. She bent her body towards the ground and growled back at the Pikachu.
"You shouldn't have done that boy!" She growled. But Pikachu wasn't over yet. With another burning up cheeks, he unleashed a second thunderbolt, even more powerful than the first one. Houndoom leapt back, but failed to land safe and twisted its anckle, transforming itslef into an easy target that got fried up by the third round of thunderbolts.
She panted and whined in pain. She surely hadn't expect the will of power of the small rat. She tried to move, but the paralyzing effect of the electrical attack had got her incapable of doing so.
One was burned and the other paralyzed... Now the battle was fairer.
Actually there's a reason for that example written like that. ':3 I like to see if, since (for whatever forsaken reason..) we don't require third person, mods will react to the PoV of each one. In other words, if it says "I do something," reply "React to what you did." If it says "Timmy/he did something," reply "React to what he/Timmy did." ;3
Other than that though, I can't see anything particularly wrong. I know you're a mature, loyal, and responsible member, too. ;3 And you HAVE been here a long time. (This doesn't MATTER app-wise, to any who may read this, but it DOES mean I have a better idea of just how well you understand the site.)

=P Well, I'm a part of plenty of sites that don't always (or never... 'xD Possibly my favorite RP right now (I'm sorry, guys, but how can you beat a Death Knight with Pokemon? xD *SHOT*) requires you to write in third person, but the mods almost ALWAYS mod in second.. 'xD It's really annoying, lol. But damn if the RP isn't fun enough to make up for it!). ^^ Just be sure to try to get more used to it, eh? :3
I'm sure with the activity lately, the PoV is gonna be the last complaint anyone has after getting a reply period. 'xD
