A Twist of Legendary is a VERY new site that I barely made in 2008, aka Dec. 31st. The only way I will ever finish it is if I have incentive too, aka you guys prodding me. xDD

Whoo! =D And, maybe... I'm going to focus on making all of the regions for the moment, and figuring out how to map them withOUT using the human cities. xDD

So, for the moment, the 'plot' is just that it's going to follow the lives of these legends. x3

I'm also going to kind of steal the territory-claiming idea from here, but different. x3 The original legends, I have decided all of day before yesterday, are going to be not only NPCs, but also quest-giver like peeps. xDD

But yeah, most days (except yesterday >.<) there will be more lands, or at least something different to the lands, as that's what I'm currently expanding. =3

Can we include non-legendary-like Pokemon in our hybrids? :3

Oh, yes. Characters will be limited to keep it small, and well, the 'elite' group of Pokémons. I think I have a bit of the character rules already up... Something like 2 Legendary hybrids and 5 pseudo-legend hybrids. For the legend hybrids, they HAVE to be part non-legendary. Ah, here's the rule itself... I rather like how I worded it. x3

I said that you couldn't have a gay Articuno. If that Deoxys/Heatran/Lugia/Zapdos/Pidgey were gay, though, that would be perfectly acceptable. :3 In fact, I'm so for same-sex stuffs that I've taken away the need for the Pokémon affected by Attract to be of the opposite gender. x3 ...Or I will. I might make a little thing about how Attract works according to sexual preference. x3 Lolz!

That's a good point... now, does something like say... my gay little Razz using Attract attract other guys, because that's what HE wants, or mostly femmes and the occasional male, because that's what is more likely to be attracted to him?

I haven't actually typed it up yet... ^^; But it's going to depend upon the Pokémon Attract is used ON, not BY, because your Razz wouldn't be the one becoming attracted.

So, pretty much, the mostly females and the occasional male thing is about right. In general, NPCs will probably be het, because most animals naturally are. x3 Not all, as there were a couple of gay penguins in a zoo in an article I read, but that was uncommon enough to have an article written about it, so... yeah, lol. x3

Flora, did you know that dolphins are bi, and the males will play with each other? A lot, and I've actually seen dolphins mating, it was interesting? x3

But that's not true, I have heard of plenty of bi(can't call em gay cause I don't know if they specifically stick to males. :P) wild animals, and another example of them are lions. They do it to establish dominance in some cases. <<;;

It's true. And in lots of birds especially, you get lesbian couples too. I saw a pair of lesbian house sparrows building a nest once. I couldn't figure out what the heck they were at first, cause I kept looking for the male's markings.

...Some humans, anyways. The strongest attack, a.k.a. "the bible says 'man shall not lie with man" is null and void anyhow-- that's the OLD testament, lolz. It also says in the same part that man shall not eat swine and shrimp and stuffs. xD

It also says that sleeping with a woman is a sin in there too somewhere(I've heard multiple times.). So ya, bite that bullet Christianity. :P

The whole thing about 'not sleeping with other men' in the bible is taken completely out of context with the times. Basically, it was written as a sin to rape another man, mostly because the Arabs would do it as a psychological terror tactic in, and even sometimes out of, war.
They could care less would to consenting men would do.
At the time too, lesbians were not considered 'gay', just... something else ^^;

No, it's going to be like ED in a lot of ways. =P But then again, it's also quite unlike much of anything else in several ways, as it's a combination of lots of things. =D

You play as the Pokémon, so congratz! You'd like the forum, methinks. I agree, the trainer-based RPs can get really dull, especially if they're just a text-form of the games. The games take long enough already, as I just HATE Wild Pokémon battles. Drawing them out waiting for Mod reply doesn't help the matter. xD

However, the Acceptable Species list is very different, and indeed the reason for the name: you can ONLY have characters that are either part Legend or Pseudo-Legend/ a "mythical" Pokémon. (Rapidash is "mythical" as it's a unicorn.) (Pseudo-legends/mythicals specified in the Acceptable Species topic, still haven't gotten around to editing in a few I've been meaning to. xDD)

Also, battles are very different... because I like to be organized. ^^; Lawl. Yes, HP & EXP system. xD

Other tidbit of information, there's going to be a flexible but difficult requirement of at least 325-350 words per roleplay post, but somehow I doubt you'd have a problem with that, considering your awesome posts on ED. =D

I'm sorry to hear that! But heh, it's supposed to be a small site, anyhow. I'd still enjoy to have you if you ever decide you'd want to RP there (once it's finished), but if not that's alright also... It's intended to be a more literate, slower-moving site than ED is. If it takes several months to get a reply that's not just dashed off for the sake of replying, that's quite alright.

You're always welcome if you want to xom and RP, but I'm certainly not angry i you don't want to/even like the site. It's a bit odd, anyhow. x3

I mean I am certainly capable of pulling off such feats of a large amount of words. But being forced into it, is what turns me away from it. After all, if you look at any of my profiles here after the first few, you will certainly see that I am if I spend a bit of time on it. Those were, for the most part, done on the first day up until the history. Which I spent maybe one or two hours on every day that I decided to work on it. I mean I spent but a few minutes, and this is already past 100 words. And is going up onto one hundred and eighteen words.

Ah, I believe I may understand. Well, I still will see you and such on here, which is a positive notion. =D

Hm.. Perhaps use the origalnal Kanto map from FR/LG, and maybe use differant colors for each city, giving them names that the random NPCs made up for them.

Just a thought, and perhaps the 'Routes' could be, oh, territories?

You can keep the names of the city on their boards, but the characters make up names for the cities. :3

But still, very interesting, the idea is AWESOME! *luffs free legends to death* And maybe for the Accpetable Species part, (read it), you could add Shedinja? The ability is awesome... so it seems pretty acceptable. Then again... Shedinja aren't the most powerful Pokemon; good for hybrids, but purebred...? Well, just a suggestion anyways.

The Old Testament is never "null and void" unless the New Testament DIRECTLY counteracts it, such as with edible animals, which specifically states that anything CAN clean IF YOU ASKED IT BLESSED, not just in general. You know, just if you want to actually read it..

Points 2 and 3 among others can usually be traced to the SEVERE corruption of the Bible as we now know it thanks to the bias of monks who transcribed them all in the early church. ^^ For another example of this corruption, see Beowulf, and enjoy laughing at the way it OBVIOUSLY switches back and forth between a Christian and Pagan viewpoint. xP (*died laughing when the recent movie took their brief stab at Christianity to mock this fact*)
