Which position are you interested in: Spriter
[B]Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?Because it is fun, and a bit of variety from the Artist position. Also, while we have a couple spriters who have recently become active again, there are NOT many people doing it.
What makes you think you deserve the job?I'm an active member of the board, and plan to remain so. I can transparitize my own sprites, and am getting at least decently good at it.
What experience if any do you have in this area?I started to dabble with it about a month ago when I got bored of waiting for an actual spriter to edit something in the Fakemon board. I kept going from there. I've worked with Digital art a lot previously, which isn't quite the same, but often is similar, at least using tools and shading, etc.
Example(s):
- This guy is a fakemon someone asked me to do on another site. Spliced mostly from a Persian and Vulpix, with other bits scratched in.

- Revamp of the Red Pidgey sprite, for my Sparra.

- The Zirconeon Project. This sprite is about midway, when Floramei had added a tail, and I'd edited it in to make it fit better. Visit
Rock Evo for a better idea of what I've been doing.

- As well as some of the recolors for the same project.

- My own Pyro. I started with a Marowak base, and altered and scratched the rest in.

- Revamp of the Red Gyarados. I think it's from the Red game anyway, can't remember.

- Revamp of an Articuno to become a Pidgeot, cause I couldn't find one I liked.

- Summer and winter sprites for my character over on Kira Region. Which I know aren't Pokemon, but...

- Some silly little emoticons my friend wanted me to make for him to use. Done right from scratch, and not transparitized cause there wasn't really a need to.
Meh. If I don't get to be an official spriter, I'll just keep going with what I've got. And if I finish my Antilla sprite before this is noticed, I'll post her too.
