Admins run the site, build new forums including densites, fix errors in stuff, change member names, etc, etc. With all this work, they don't have a lot of time to mod topics, though they often will. Still, if looking for someone to reply, PM a mod first.

Moderator: (Led by: Heart of Thorns)
(Position: Open)
Mods keep a few topics such as the Adoption Tree and such updated, as well as replying to member's journeys. In replying, they may use their own characters, naturally, though this greatly limits the other things they may control. They may also reply with NPCs, or as the environment, causing weather changes, rockslides, unexplainable phenomina, etc. They can make members find items, and are to randomly add items, usually common or uncommon, to the bios of characters with Pick Up.
Note to aspiring mods: Please try to control the character you are modding as little as possible. Things such as "You look out and see-" may be necessary to go the direction you want with their topic, but please do not control their thoughts, words, feelings, etc. Do not control their actions past those minor things to do with senses, or continuing an action they stated. In other words, if they say they begin to run frantically, you may then say something about them running in your mod post.

Spriters make character sprites for other members. These could be recolors, splices, reposes, revamps, etc. For example:

Recolor: Nidoran:f:

Repose: Raticate
Revamp: Green Version Arcanine
Revamp: Green Version Dewgong

As you can see, ability to transparentize is very nice, but not required. If you cannot transparentize, however, I do recommend looking at this topic.

Artists do pictures of members' characters. This can be done in any medium. For example:

All Spriters and Artists have the ability to stop taking requests at any time. They may also choose to do art trades when they have temporarily stopped taking other requests.

You may hold any combination of the above positions, with the exception of Admin/Mod, as all Admins also have the ability to mod anyway.
