Which position are you interested in: Mod, Spriter, Artist, or a combination?
Mod.
Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?
Mainly, the replies to my roleplays have been sparse, and it bothers me. I realize that the staff is busy, but seriously... I believe I should stop myself before I begin to digress. Back on topic, I would like to save others the frustration of waiting for updates by giving this site the "gift" of my services.
What makes you think you deserve the job?
I have been roleplaying for a while now. Though I am not the best of all, I put a lot of effort into my posts. I am attentive to detail, and attempt to make notice of every point when replying to a post.
What experience if any do you have in this area?
This may be the weakest point in my argument. I have very little mod experience. I was the owner of a site known as Ivaro Region, though it fell died due to lack of members. I have modded some one-topic roleplays on the pokeplushies site. I was once told by the owner of another similar Pokemon Region site (the owner of which went my mariomaniac13 and was a very good mod in my opinion) that he envied my ability. But, that's just an opinion...

| QUOTE (RP Example 2) |
Happy as a Blissey, I trotted through the fields. This was it. Today would finally be the day that the Pokémon I had adored for so long would finally become mine! I would make sure of it! Now if only I could find him...
o.o Wait.. I don't remember that tree.... or that bush... ..... ;_; "WHERE AM I!?" |
And so the joy of your day comes to an end. It would seem even nature itself shared your anguish. Dark clouds could be seen gathering overhead as a storm threatened to show itself. The wind slowly picked up, and the bush you saw danced lazily in the zephyr. With the moving of its leaves, a strange grey shape could be seen hidden beneath the foliage...

| QUOTE (Battle 2) |
Kazu huffed with exhaustion. It looked like this was the end for the Diglet/Growlithe hybrid.. His Sandslash foe had just gone underground, and in a matter of moments he would pop up from who knows where to deliver the final critical strike. Why!? Why couldn't he resist his own type on this field! We was fine fighting other fire-types, but nooo..
Suddenly it hit him. Not the attack, but an idea! Tossing his sarcastic thoughts aside, he leashed his only hope of winning this battle: Earthquake! |
You strike the earth, and so the Earthquake ensued. All around you, fissures started to appear, and chunks of rock and dirt flew up out of the ground, the destruction growing larges as the quake moved from the epicenter. A few yards away from you, one very wide crack appeared, and something other than a stone was tossed from it: the Sandslash.
It was humorous actually. He screamed as though he had no idea why he had even left the earth, still in shock and totally unknowing as to why there was light. Gravity finally overcame him, and he landed back in the opened earth, grabbing onto the edge for dear life, as the earth still convulsed with the quake, and the fissure could very well close up and turn him into an underground pancake if he fell in.
He climbed back up, panting and wheezing. The Earthquake finally stopped, a few rumbles heard in the distance as it died down. He was kneeling down out of tiredness and a shaken spirit, and his arms and quills trembled from the anxiety from his dangerous ordeal. He looked up at you, a weak fire burning in his glare. "You're gonna wish you hadn't done this," he said. He lifted a paw, showing off the sharp claws, obviously with intent to Slash you. Instead, he groaned, shut his eyes, and fell forward onto the now-calm earth. The fight was over.
Hm.. Just one thing-
In the second post, as in the majority of posts here, the character is written in third person, but your reply is in second. Other than that, very nice. :D
Can you promise me you'll pay more attention to the point of view in replies from now on? =P
Bleh... Yeah, I'm used to seeing mods make second-person posts on other sites, so I kinda modelled my style after them... Plus I think that second post was kinda overkill anyway...
Yes, I think I can pay more attention from now on. :concern:
