Artist- I love drawing I've been drawing since I've been 2. I have gone to A LOT of art classes I have won A LOT of art awards, shows, and contests. I think and A LOT of other people think I have a wonderful gift.
Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?
Because I LOVE art it's so expiring and fun!
What makes you think you deserve the job?

Umm......... these aren't sprites. If you do EVERYTHING from scratch, like that, then those aren't sprites. You'd be better off a applying for a job as an artist.

Okay then I'll change it right now!
EDIT:
Okay I updated it.

=/ Here's a rare thing... You're not bad, I'll give you that. Surprisingly, I love CeleLord. Hate the concept, because legends don't evolve, but it's really pretty.
But personally, I don't believe you have the maturity required of our staff here at ED. We like our staff to have patience and diplomacy, at least in small amounts. In addition to never once being able to come up with a more original PM title than "hello", as well as not even having the initiative to fully edit your application post to make the transition from Spriter to Artist... Your never-ending PM's nagging and begging, not even trying to understand that I was having problems with my comp and couldn't find time for anything, begging to rip-off my and the other members' ideas for your own site, then constantly asking- as much as every few minutes at times- why they weren't up yet and when I'd get them up when I DID agree to let you borrow a few things with permission AND help you build your site in general, before you apparently just forgot about that site before it was done and had the NERVE to ask me to "help" you build another one... all this says to me that you don't understand nor deserve exactly what is entailed in a staff position.
Got a problem? Think I'm wrong? PROVE IT. A mature person can handle criticism like this (seeing as I'm not even insulting you, just pointing out factual events) and do something about it. Get more active on this site, make a character, start RPing, have some actual conversations with some of the other members, and prove you're every bit as good and mature as any of them.
Or, you can just throw up your hands and give up, or get mad and yell at me before "leaving" (though it's not like you were really here much, being on VERY often and a member for months with a whole 5 posts) or something of that nature. Your choice.

:( SG, don't you think your kinda being alittle harsh? I mean, I ask you for alot of stuff, well, I want to, but I always think you'll do somthing like this. Which, in turn, I'll get mad, and so on and so forth. But THIS, this is alittle like the 8th level of H3ll my friend.
both of us - May 13, 2008 11:59 PM (GMT)
First off I was excited about that whole help me on my site thing.......I'd never do that again.
Second off your computer being down I never said anything and I understood.
Whoa I do have patience and diplomacy. If you think I don't then you don't know what patience and diplomacy means.
I do agree I asked the members to help me on my site and stuff. I don't do that anymore.
That was kind of weird asking you to help me build ANOTHER SITE.
I'm really good inside and really mature if you don't believe that then I will prove it to you.
YES, I was a NOOB but I'm not any more I promise. I'm a whole new person. If any members catch me PM you about advertising or anything please report it because I know I'm never going to do it again.
Thanks for the complement about CeleLord! ^_^
Watch I'll show you wrong. I'm not trying to be mean to you I'm trying to tell you that you are wrong I'm a whole new person watch.
EDIT:
I changed my application! ;)

Nami. Shut up when you haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about, okay? This guy wanted to STEAL MOST of ED, basically. Stealing with permission, sure. But it wasn't a "hey, I like this idea. Would you mind if I did something similar?", no.
| QUOTE |
| Our sites can be the exact same the RPG and rules and how it started but people can sign up at mine and yours and maybe we can find some way to trade and battle from both of the sites! Is this a good idea? |
Yes, that works for GB/DS games, but even then there is SOMETHING different. He wanted NOTHING different except that he would own one of them. When I tried to explain why it was not a good idea, he even dared to press the matter! And I STILL offered him my extremely limited time to help out AND was going to allow him to use parts of our rule systems with just a little credit tag at the bottom. So in the process of helping, I looked over his general rules. One of them was extremely generalized, so I just seperated into two more specific rules, and added two normal rules ("no discrimination" and something else). When I told him this, just keeping him up to date with my changes as I do with everyone I help, he got upset and said he wanted the rules how they were. .... So... He begs for my help (A LOT) then gets mad for... me not liking discrimination? Telling members in more detail what 'illegal' meant? (Some people DON'T realize ROMs are illegal, sorry for being safe rather than sorry.)
Not to mention.... HOW many PM's? I'M WORKING ON IT! GEEZ! I kept telling him, 'Yeah, I'm working on stuff', and he keeps IMing "Hey are those rules up yet?" "Hey can you add that?" "Hey, when are you going to have time to add that?" "Do you have time to add that yet?" T__T ON TOP OF not even giving me TIME TO REPLY before PMing AGAIN to ask the SAME QUESTION on a few occasions!! No, not a double post on accident, it was worded differently.
Nami, you of ALL people should know just 'being n00bish' doesn't make me like this. WHO was it that was at 80% warn level and suspended for a few days not long after joining because she was so n00bish? And who was it that supported you to other staff even when I myself was mad at you because I KNEW you could get better? And you did! In a few weeks' time you went from official site n00b to uber valued member. ^^
So yes, I have my reasons beyond just 'I think he's n00bish'. If he wants to prove he's mature, he can prove it with action rather than words. That means Bothie? Stop PMing me about this, because you're only hurting your case more each time. >< (Example for Nami: I KNOW he can spell at least on an average level. So after one of my points in the first reply was that I hated "hello" being the title for EVERY PM, he PMs me entitled "hello". When I point out that that alone proves he didn't read my post very well, he claimed he did but "thought that part was stupid", and his next PM misspelled ELEMENT. Misspelling a word isn't usually anything, but ELEMENT. One of the two words that is on EVERY LAST PAGE of this site. And THAT proves a sheer lack of effort.)
In other words, Bothie. Stop PMing me, and start being a member.
PS- Someone obviously wasn't here for the hack ordeal. Two girls tried to destroy me and this site! Were they scolded? Yelled at? Banned? NONE OF THE ABOVE. I figured out one of them, the other ended up confessing to get guilt off the first, I talked calmly to both of them via IM, and they're both still on staff now. THAT is some fricking Diplomacy!
both of us - May 14, 2008 11:04 AM (GMT)
Uhhh.......... I was excited like I said. I'm a whole new person that was in the past. I'm different I told you.
DarkCat - May 14, 2008 05:19 PM (GMT)
Bothie... I'm getting the feeling that you are not listening, if you really want us to think that you have changed, then prove it instead of making a promise that may wind up being an empty one... -.-
From ever since you had joined, you didn't appear that interested in making a character here, all you pretty much did was ask around to use peoples ideas or even to get their assistance with your own site. So instead of saying that you are different, go and prove it to us. I'd say don't bother trying to convince us through words, because no simply means no.
Nami The Werefox - May 14, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
:glare: SG, what did I do this time? Or, do I always do somthing wrong for you to take your anger out on me? Is that it? Or just because of my age?
Heart of Thorns - May 14, 2008 09:11 PM (GMT)
Please read DarkCat's post... <__< And all of mine, more than likely. I was NICE to YOU throughout most of it. Bothie is just really annoying. As DC said, he hasn't seemed interested in this site at all up until now, only its members and their ideas.
Just FYI, Bothie:
http://directadvertisement.org <- There's a place where people LIKE you begging for help or are always looking for extra staff. So if you've truly changed as you keep trying to say, start looking for help from there rather than here when you need it, and go start BEING A MEMBER. Aka- Being a member does NOT = continuing to PM me after I've begged you to stop about how 'uptight' I'm being or continuing to say with empty words that you've changed in this thread.
Thread locked.
PM me about this subject again, Bothie, and you'll get a week's suspension. No, Nami, I'm NOT being "mean". I'm being an Owner. You know as well as any I like to be democratic when possible, but there comes a point when people don't seem to listen to a nice owner. Like a parent, I guess.. They want to be nice (most of the time) but it comes to a point where it's like "I'm the boss. Do what I keep telling you to do or you're grounded." ... xD YAY I'M A MOMMY!! *hugs my hundreds of 'children'* xP ROFL.
