Of COURSE SG's an avatar fan! Did you READ the site's disclaimer? This very site has origins in SG's Avatar obsession! Tasha is the one who thought of doing Elements, and my obsession with Avatar and the thought of that is what made me ask to be CoOwner when the site was still just an idea!

<__< Katara/Aang most certainly is NOT an official couple!! The only official couples are/were Zuko/Mai (now broken up), Katara/Jet (now broken up), and Sokka/Yue (cut short). Then of course Zuko had an official date that once, but they never became official. Now that they rescued Suki, Sokka/Suki WILL become official, but it's not quite yet.

While Aang has always liked Katara, they are not nor ever have been official. Yes, he kissed her once, which though she blushed about she seemed none too happy about. And since they've not said anything about it, and she seemed REALLY happy to see Haru, who she very much liked when they met him before.

'^^; Sorry, it makes me mad when people say Aang/Katara are official...

x3 Anyway, my reasons for thinking Zuko/Katara and Toph/Aang will eventually develop-

1) The entire show is so Yin-Yang oriented. It's all opposites and harmony and balance and stuff. =P Soo.....


^__^ It keeps everything in balance! On the same note, Katara and Zuko are physically Yin (dark/female) and Yang (light/male). =D ALSO on this note, the ubertastic quote from the end of Book 1: "You rise with the moon; I rise with the sun."

2) Best. Pickup Line. EVER. xD "I'll save you from the pirates." Lol. Yes, I KNOW he's working with the pirates, but Zuko really DOES help her a bit even if for his own reasons. Had he not been there to... er... 'negotiate'.. those pirates wouldn't have bothered kidnapping the thief. <<' Lol. =3 Anyway, it's FORESHADOWING. Lol.

3) ^__^ SG likes the end of season 2! Even after everything, Katara trusted him enough she was willing to use her spirit water. << Damn Aang and Iroh had to ruin it... Seriously- I don't wanna hear "well he betrayed them!" You think about it for two seconds and tell me you honestly think he would've turned on them had she removed his scar. Zuko is VERY loyal; he just gets confused and often questions what he's fighting for.

4) Yes, she was VERY harsh when he first showed up, but who wasn't? In later 13 and the beginning of 14, she teases him the same as anyone else. =) She warms back up to him quickly, even after the 'betrayal' in Ba Sing Se.

x3 Meh, I'll be happy with Zutara OR Maiko, really. Just as long as there's NOT Kataang, because I hate it. << .. ^^ As an alt to Zutara, I wouldn't mind seeing Katara and Haru getting (back?) together. (I say back because it wasn't really SAID "hey we're dating" with Katara and Jet at first, but in Ba Sing Se Toph lets us no she's lying when she says they weren't. =P So it's possible there was more than meets the eye with them too. '^^ Not to mention Avatar has deleted scenes that "aren't appropriate for Nickelodeon". ;.; I WANT TO SEE THE REST OF "THE BEACH" DAMMIT!! '^^; [/rant])

i,ve never really liked the paird that they have that isn't in the show (right now) i've always really not liked zuko....

Then you don't know the first thing about him.

Zuko isn't an evil angry obsessive bad guy.

He's a confused, passionate young man whose very blood causes him to be in constant conflict with himself, resulting in anger toward others in order to let out the anger he holds toward himself. He is proud, yet learning humility. He was cursed with a difficult fate, but has learned he can use it, and become strong through his struggles. He decides what he wants, and spares no expense, never gives up, until he achieves his goal, or is shown the error of his ways. His love for those he cares for is unending, and finally he has learned how to accept and express his love.

HOW can you dislike that? ;__;

im not saying i don't like him!!!! im just saying he's not one of my favorite characters... yes i know he's had all that stuff happen to him, i just... i don't know, my dad (my whole familly loves avatar so, we watch it together) new that Katara was going to have this thing where she would have a little crush on him!!! ya, like with Jet, and well she kind of is boy crazy xD!!!!
