Description: It's Olive's turn!

Which position are you interested in: Mod, Spriter, Artist, or a combination?
Mod/Spriter

Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?
I see that sometimes members have to wait for long periods of time before getting an update. It is kind of, um annoying to me. The reason I'd like to be a spriter is because I love doing it and being challenged by it.

What makes you think you deserve the job?
Simple, I'm active, I'm on every day (and for most of the day), and I have great grammar and spelling!

What experience if any do you have in this area?
I don't have much experience in modding, but I've studied how people do it, so I think I've got modding figured out by now. There's also my site (which is unfinished). Now, I've been spriting for a long time and I think I'm pretty good at it, but I'm not the judge.

QUOTE (RP Example 3)
Lucky trotted happily along. True to his name, he was having a lucky day indeed! He'd gotten to explore that pretty forest, and now this beautiful field! And besides all that, he got to share it with his adopted kit, Sammi.

Suddenly, Sammi stopped walking. She looked up to the big Absol/Ninetales with whimpering eyes. "Daddy.. I'm hungry.."

Lucky seemed concerned a moment, then smiled at the little Eevee. "No worries little one! I'm sure we'll find some food around here! After all, this day just keeps getting better and better!"

Unfortunately, Lucky was about to find out that his day wasn't going to get better anytime soon. The field was completely barren. There were a few Starly flying above, but they were way out of the pair's reach. It seemed like the winter's freeze had run off all of the prey.

After searching for awhile the two happened upon a carcass. Most of it was already gone. The Murkrow had almost picked it clean. Some fowl tasting Nincada had come up from their holes to eat the rest of it. So now the two were faced with a decision, eat the carcass, the Nincada, or starve.

QUOTE (Battle 1)
My eyes grew wide as the Houndoom came racing toward me. Try as I may, though, my little Pikachu body could only move so fast. I dodged Matrix style as best I could, still being badly scraped up by that burning bite. The force knocked me completely over, so I finished the somersault out and used my tail to make sure I landed on my feet.

My small hand clutched my side, where I wasn't entirely sure, but suspected I had a bit of burn damage as well. Great.. Just what I needed- a burn from a Houndoom! As if mocking me, she laughed her seductive little laugh. "Had enough, little boy?"

I snarled and growled with frustration, static building in my pouches. "I'll show you! I'll show you all!" She wouldn't make a fool of me! Yelling with anger, I leashed the strongest Thunderbolt I could muster!

The shock was lucky enough to actually hit the Houndoom. She howled in pain as it struck. However, she was still standing angry as ever. Her eyes burned like the fire she was about to unleash. You knew it was over as soon as the dog-like pokemon opened her mouth.

The fire was being charged up by the gases in her stomach and at this point it was fairly visible. However, you noticed a small spark come from her pelt. With that you realized that your Thunderbolt was just enough to paralyze her! This meant you had the chance you needed to strike her down.

It might have been to late though. "Feel the wrath of my Fire Blast!" she called. The flame began to flow out of her mouth branching into a star shape. It was slow though, and the paralyzing sparks from her pelt were getting larger. Tiny jolts from your pouches were also starting to sprout. For some reason the electricity that was coming from them shot towards the Houndoom!

It was obvious your positive charge was attracted to her negative charge, although it wasn't something that really mattered right now. The shock hit the fiery shot causing a blast! Soon after the smoke cleared you could see the body of your opponent. She was unconscious, but still alive. Now was your chance to escape.
