Which position are you interested in: Mod, Spriter, Artist, or a combination?

I'd like to try for the Moderator position. Once I get a few more projects under my belt, I'll try for Spriter. I just don't have enough material for the latter yet. Wow, this is a long response to a question that could be answered by 2 words. XP

Why do you want to be a Mod, Artist, and/or Spriter?

The board's activity level is sluggish, at best. I believe I could greatly increase the pace of random RPs, as well as help with varying board duties such as approval. As for Spriter... uh, I like to sprite?

What makes you think you deserve the job?

Well, for starters, I've been tried and tested as a Moderator on other boards. I already have one of the highest post rates on the board, and I've been RPing for 3 years now on various sites. I think I could contribute well. As for spriting... well, spriting is what got me into RPing in the first place. Needless to say, I've been doing it for a long time. It's not like I'm the BEST spriter, and I SUCK with deadlines and getting some projects done, but I think I could perform fairly.

What experience if any do you have in this area?

Mod:
-Positions on multiple boards, many of them sadly dead...
-3+ years of RPing experience
-LOTS of free time

Spriting:
-4 years spriting experience, little to show for it <.<

-Character name not mentioned ANYWHERE in the post
-Post made entirely in 1st Person; 3rd Person is the norm on any RPG
-Minor punctuatoin errors, such as only two periods in what should be a "..."
-Uh... that's all I can think of.

You need to reply as if you were the mod, not poking at things that are wrong silly.

Er... as in, correct in a nicer tone, or actually progress the RP? The latter will be difficult, as it'd be rather situational, depending on the individual player. I can't just pull a generic RP situation outta my arse, I need to know the RPer I'm dealing with, and I'd need to think of an event just for the occasion.

Actually progress it ya silly boob, do somethin like a battle or something of the sorts. :P

Alright. Like I said before, though, I can't just dump a generic RP element on any player. What am I dealing with here? Is this a Grand Alpha mourning the loss of a mate? Is this in the Realm of Air? All those factors influence what comes next in an RP.

<___< If YOU can RP in script, other people can RP in first person... Just replace "The rain fell on character" with "The rain fell on you", etc etc. That'll take care of your first two problems. Just bs and assume..

The rain only falls harder, washing away all traces of the struggle. Fresh blood, evidence of the one strike that had decided the battle's course, mixes with the mud and fades from sight. Even memories of your effort to claim what was rightfully yours is being washed away before your eyes. The sky darkens as the cloud cover gathers, and what was once a simple downpour is now a raging torrent. In the distance, you see what appears to be a mobile mound of vegetation, capped with a large lily pad adorned by a yellow flower. An almost birdlike face stares from the general center of the creature's front side. It dances jovially, blissfully unaware of the struggle that had just raged here, it's festive spinning and jumping matching perfectly with the beat of rain against the ground... a thought runs through your head, nagging at the absolute ridiculousness of the situation. Only moments after the struggle that had torn everything you cared about away, this... thing DARES to show such carefree happiness?
